I'd be good at it

I'd love to report that gaming and napping thru weight loss is working brilliantly, but grandkids keep showing up eating junk food all around me and I'm settling for thrilled that I managed to wait an extra hour for my blood glucose level to settle before I shoved a handful of chocolate chips in my mouth...

What if everything I wrote had to be in the form of just one long sentence...

Are you paying attention yet?

I've come to see life as a series of tutorials. Where we wind up depends on whether we've been paying attention.

Some of it is pretty basic. Be nice, share toys, look out for each other. Some of it gets a little more complicated- Watch your salt after that nearly 100% blockage but not one of the specialists mentions maybe letting go of those giant drinks full of sugar.

We understand weighting in competitions and sales events, but we fail to see it in medicine and the arts. Is religion weighted, too? Politics is a given.

Anyway, I've pointed out before that we get to the end of our participation in this big game and wonder why someone doesn't care to show up when we are maybe dying, or even just having a really hard time.

Someone in the back just pointed out the importance of networking, but I've seen entire networks drop off with life changes, so where is the tutorial for that, I ask.

I used to make long posts. Meh. I might make more if I keep them shorter nowadays. I'm busy. But I think it's important. We'll see what happens if I wander back here.

Ug, I'm so out of practice. I couldn't decide whether to make a new blog, but this one feels somewhat comfortable and I like the code, so I may be coming back here for awhile.
